Natoma Station will administer the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress, or CAASPP the two weeks following Spring Break, April 18-28th. Fifth grade will also participate in the pilot of the new California Science Test during this testing window. Make-up tests will be administered May 1-May 5th. FRIDAY, MAY 5, 2017, for the following 3rd Graders: Anthony Benavides, Ena Kim and Darby Cox...& 4th Graders: Courtney Johnson, Mary Lavapie and Faith Shelton..Location: Oak Chan Elementary. The Math Bowl begins in the morning students are excused from school, and will be counted present. Their parents need to take them through completion. They may stay to watch other grades. Details on the actual times will be forthcoming.
Why join the CAC? The Folsom Cordova Unified School District Special Education Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is a Board of Education, approved committee. The CAC is made up of parents, community members and District staff concerned with the needs of children with disabilities. The goal of the CAC is to empower and assist parents of students with special needs to become effective team members in their child's education. A BIG THANK YOU goes out to our generous PTO, The Folsom Cordova Education Foundation, William Jessup University, Natoma Station Staff, and Lari Miller-Powell, STEM lead teacher, for their part in making our Natoma Station Family STEAM night a huge success! More than 300 students and family members were served dinner (courtesy of Natoma Station Elementary PTO) and actively participated in a variety of STEAM activities.
