WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR LETTER WITH YOUR STUDENT'S ELIGIBILITY, PUT THE LETTER IN A SAFE PLACE TO USE FOR OTHER SERVICES OR DEPARTMENTS.
KEEP THE LETTER FOR THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR.
BY LAW, FOOD SERVICES CANNOT SHARE YOUR STUDENT'S ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION.
Do I have to fill out an application every school year?
Unless you have received a letter by August 5, 2016 stating that your student is Directly Certified for free lunch, then YES; you must fill out a new application.
Can I fill out an application online?
Yes. click on MEAL APPLICATIONS (to the left on this page) and follow the directions.
I have three students in the district and they each attend a different school. Do I need to fill out an application for each student?
No, you only need to fill out one application for all your students in the district.
I have a Foster Child living in my household. Do I need to fill out a separate application for that student?
No, you do not fill out a separate application. Foster children who live with you may count as members of your household and should be listed on your application. If applying only for a foster child, after completing step 1 on the application, skip to step 4.
Do I need to turn in any documentation with my application?
No, you do not turn in any documentation with your application. (Please note, if you are selected for verification purposes you will be asked for documentation at that time.)
When will I find out if my student has been approved?
We have ten days from when we receive your application here in the Food Services Department to process your application. Once your application has been processed we will send you a letter with your eligibility status. (Please note, if you turned your application in at a school site it still has to be sent to our department by district mail. This could take a few extra days.)
Can I use my approval letter for other services?
Yes, there are other departments and agencies that accept the letter for their services. PLEASE KEEP YOUR LETTER FOR THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR. By law we cannot share your information with other departments and agencies. There is a charge for additional letters.
How do I put money on my student’s account?
Go to https://www.ezschoolpay.com/Login.aspx. You will need your student’s ID number to set up your account. (You can get this number from your student's school or the Food Services Department.) Below are directions to help you with registering.
First Page of EZSchoolpay.com – at bottom left click PARENT’S REGISTER NOW
Second Page – on right side of page under PARENT REGISTRATION – enter email address, click continue
Third Page – Towards the bottom of page is SCHOOL DISTRICT – click blue magnifying glass –
in DISTRICT NAME type FOL – click search
You can use either a MasterCard or Visa credit or debit card to make a deposit to your student’s account. The money will show up in your student’s account within ten minutes. (Note: unless you put a specific amount in the “Low Balance Notification” it will default to zero) You can also send a check or cash with your student.
My student had money on their account at the end of last school year and now attends a different school in the district. Where is their money?
Any balance (POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE) left on your student’s account at the end of the last school year follows them to the next year and/or school.
